From the moment you make the decision to come to Israel I will be there to ensure that you find the right organization– whether it is in a particular city or area of Israel or with a specific group of people.
Working with foreign volunteers is very inspiring and I have been blessed to meet so many good people who wish to give of their time and love to help the Jewish people in Israel. I look forward to meeting you here in Israel where your personal volunteering dream comes true! All the services I provide are done with the agreement and in cooperation with Ms. Ilana Turevsky-Assaf, National Supervisor for Overseas Volunteers at the Division of Community Resources at the State of Israel’s Ministry of Social Affairs and Services.
Coming to Israel to volunteer is an amazing adventure, and Volunteer Israel is here to help you make the most of this experience. I will ensure that you are matched with the best possible volunteer placement according to your preferences, and that all required documents from the Ministries of Social Affairs and the Interior are fully in order so your visa can be issued swiftly.
Volunteering must be the primary reason for coming to Israel and your special volunteer visa (B4) cannot be exchanged for any other after your arrival. You cannot come as a tourist and ask for it to be changed to a volunteer one, nor can you come as a volunteer and decide to study at a university or college and ask for a student visa to be issued instead. In addition, if you are planning to convert to Judaism you cannot start the course in Israel whilst on a volunteer visa nor arrive having already started this process. Should any of these issues arise, you will be asked to leave Israel, have your volunteer visa revoked and need to begin again to get the correct visa issued.
We have over 18 years of experience in providing placement services for
volunteers from all over the world in charitable organizations in Israel.
